Default [MERGED] 4-man Farming in SF

1 Monk (Healer)
1 Necro (Blood pref.)
2 Warriors

The things you need are, people with brains and time.
We have totally finished off SF (except for the Furnace Guardians) ... we died a few times but what the heck we made it .

I was the Necro and I took the following skills:
Vampiric Gaze
Life Siphon
Rebirth
Well of Blood
Vampiric Touch
Shadow Strike
Rotting Flesh
Life Transfer

My Attributes:
Blood Magic 16
Death Magic 9
Soul Reaping 11


Well at first we were with 6 but in front of SF 2 left and we decided to continue to see if it would work with 4 people and it did.

Well it's best that you have experienced people and people that know stuff about luring with gears and stuff like that, every other knowledge is a +.

Not enough AOE damage imo it would take too long.

Take longer.... yes.
More chance on items...yes
Less damage than 5+ people...yes

Less damage and more time needed ... for better items ..I am patient enough to do that ;p

Default Fast 4 Man FA Farm

The fast 4 man FA farm run consists of a monk, and earth ele/mes, and 2 nukers. Runs off being immune to spells and the high armor of the earth ele.

The monk build is...
16 Divine Favor with head and sup div
13 Prot with minor prot

1. Spell Breaker
2. Divine Boon
3. Reversal
4. Mend Condition
5. Prot Spirit
6. Life Bond
7. Essensse Bond
8. Blessed Signet

Life bond and essense bond are put on earth ele. U have the nrg to always have divine boon. In very large aggros u have to constantly spam reversal and mend on the earth ele and sometimes prot spirit only becuse it has a 1/4 sec cast time.

The Earth Ele/Mes Build is...
16 Earth with head and sup earth
13 Energy Storage with minor energy stor

1. Obsidian Flesh
2. Armor of Earth
3. Kinetic Armor
4. Mantra of Concentration
5. Stone Daggers
6. Earth Attunement
7. Aftershock
8. Crystal Wave

Always keep armor of earth and try to keep kinetic up via stone daggers. ALWAYS use mantra of con to throw up obsidian flesh and also use when casting armor of earth in a heavy mob, becuase u will get interupted otherwise. Time aftershock with meteor knockdowns or if your feeling daring u can drop earth attune for whirlwind and do that little combo. Remember though u aren't there to do damage, however u do.

The nukers i usually use are fire eles with maelstrom. I like this cause the earth ele can time aftershock with meteor shower knockdowns.

Play Notes...

Treat the earth ele as a tank, meaning stay out of his aggro untill u get inside SF with the keg.

The earth ele should have spell immunity all the time or very close and have armors up constantly. I play monk in this build and spell break the earth ele after he puts up his armors and he runs in and takes all the aggro he can see. Then as spell breaker ends he mantra of cons Obsidian Flesh becuase it would get interupted otherwise, and NO dont try using mantra of resolve. The monk needs to be spamming his fast prot skills on the earth ele almost constantly and blessed sig accordingly.

Your nukers should always kill enemy casters first.

This is so fast becuase u can take 4-5 groups on at once. Once in FA you should be able to do run in 15 min max.

Pretty cool build with an earth ele tanker, but its tough to find someone with that in public i think

Some energy management would do you good.

With all the health steal/drain in your bar, your elite spot would be
better used for Offering of Blood

Like Rosette said you need to look into energy management...

as far as the boon healer build...why are people under the impression that boon healing is effective? Also, you would benefit from a hex removal.

Default 4 man farming, pretty crazy.

I just played a 4 man farming team for FA and pwned with 3 eles and 1 monk.

1 Earth ele was tanking for the team while the monk was protecting. The other 2 eles were just ordinary nukers.

For the Ele Tank build, he used:

16 earth
13 energy storage
3 inspiration

Mantra of Concentration
Earth Attunement
Armor of Earth
*elite* Obsidian Flesh
Stone Daggers
Crystal Wave
Aftershock
and Kinetic Armor just for backup

The one monk used:

16 Divine
13 Protect

*elite*Spellbreaker
Reversal of Fortune (used constantly on tank)
Mend Condition
Life Bond
Protective Spirit
Divine Boon
Essence Bond
Blessed Signet

This is a great 4 man farming group, really fast at farming and owns like crazy. My group did sf a few times and didnt die a single time.

I dont know maybe we were in the same group. I play monk Darth Teh Mario. Im using balt spirit on myself now for even better energy gain.

Default Devised Builds of 4-man FA farming !

After tuning and alteration of various builds , i have managed to come up with a pretty neat 4-man build consisting of 1 Stance-Smite Keg Tank, 2 Echo Nuker capable of casting 4 x meteor shower in once shot, 1 barrier bonder monk. So heres the skills and attributes involved.

Keg Tank (giadiator armor)
Full Smites - Full tactics

Balthazar spirit
Balthazar aura
Symbol of wraith
Smite Hex
Shield of judgement [Elite]
Rebirth (optional)
Bonetti defense
Balanced Stance

Important point to note is that Bonetti defense is required before casting any smite skills as it reduces the chance for you to get interrupted. Another point to note is that balthazar spirit should be cast on urself before the bonds from monks came in so you don't have to fear it being shattered. It gives u ample energy n adrenaline for Bonetti's and smites.

Echo Nukers
16 fire - 15 energy storage

Fireball (can be replace)
Fire Storm
Meteor Shower
Maelstrom
Mark of Rodgort
Fire attunement
Arcane Echo
Glyph of renewal [Elite] (definitely better than Echo)

Quite self explain build, in case anyone who doesn't know how to do a 4 x Nuke with meteor shower, heres the order :
Fire attune -> Glyph -> MS -> Arcane Echo -> MS (recharge instant due to glyph) -> Glyph (should be recharge by now) -> MS (from arcane echo) -> MS (from the arcane echo instant recharge due to glyph).
This cost quite a lot of exhaustion but pretty worth it. That is why we only need fire storm & MS as nukes. Mark of rodgort is very effective vs furnance giants and bosses.

Barrier Bonder Monk
13 Heal - 13 Proc - 9 Div

Healing breeze
Healing Seed
Dwayna kiss
Lifebond
Essense Bond
Life Barrier
Balthazar spirit
Blessed Signet

There are lots of barrier bonders monk in warcamp nowadays so i guess its quite self explainatory how the monk works with unlimited mana and maintaining the breeze to keep bonds from being shattered.

Offering of Blood it's Sacrifice is bad, if the team died except for me and some aggro are following me I can kill them with Life Transfer / Life Siphon and run a bit and attack them a few times and stuff, believe me it's good.

I had Offering of Blood before but Life Transfer works better for me
